Imagine for a moment, giving or receiving a whimsical illustration where your loved one has been spotted in our world of art. My one-of-a-kind pen and ink drawings begin with storytelling, an adventure. They are opportunities to stretch the imagination.

Through listening and learning, I strive to move around various emotions of a relationship and land on the best of it. To reference something good, even add to it in the midst of grief and loss. To be something that enriches the presence of a loved one, who is always with us in some way, shape or form. To celebrate the light they have given us. To give us a deeper understanding inside.

Throughout the past ten years, I’ve worked alongside children and adults of all ages and art mediums in classes, workshops, community projects, and schools. Creating one of a kind commissioned illustrations is another facet to this grateful life.

I grew up in Northwest Marin County, California. My world of art is rooted in the luck of a happy childhood with the gift of free time in a rural paradise.

My works are done without rough drafts or retakes, in sizes from 9 x 5 inches to 10 x 12 inches, and can take up to 8 hours. I charge $30 an hour, ask for half down, which includes getting to know you and the subject’s stories. Within three weeks your piece will be ready, floating frame included.
